The end of the Knut era

Berlin’s polar bear Knut died yesterday. He was always close to me, since he was born shortly after I moved to Berlin. I took this photo of him when he was about 1,5 years old. (DN, SvD)

    For me it sounds like a case of poisoning. Did not Paul , the octopus, from the saqme Zoo die suddenly?

    I happened to come across this video while clicking around on YouTube. It reminds me of “Conquering The Chromosomes” in D8, though I suppose this could be the complete opposite in a way; beauty being corrupted. Beauty with a twist anyhow:
