And here are the hard facts.
It was my goal to warm up for the first kilometers, in order for my heart rate to increase slowly. Looking at the graph afterwards, I conclude that it worked:
But it was extremely boring to not give everything already from the start. I’m always so full of adrenaline when I hit the streets.
Friday afternoon = lots of traffic. Not so good. But at least Havelchaussee (mostly) and Tempelhof belong to road bikers and other non-cardrivers.
For those of you who don’t know, Tempelhof is the old airport of West Berlin. It was closed some years ago and is now a park. It’s very fun to bike on the landing strips.
