This is Open Source Café, a small and cosy coworking space in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. I worked from there the day before yesterday, and I plan to attend their next WordPress/Automattic gathering in the beginning of December.
Shimokitazawa is closer to me, about half the price of the commute (150 instead of 290 yen oneway) compared to Gotanda.
The area is, according to Wikipedia, “usually considered to be one of Tokyo’s hippest neighborhoods among young people. The atmosphere and fashion is similar to the more popular Harajuku, but is usually less crowded and has a much more laid-back atmosphere.”
